Step by step
How it works, in 5 steps.
-
01
Upload the report
You do
Drop the PDF (or Word file) into a project.
You get
The full text as Markdown — headings and paragraphs, minus page furniture.
-
02
Skim and mark
You do
Scan the headings in the editor; delete appendices you will never reference.
You get
A tighter source for a sharper digest.
TipKeep the methodology section — questions about “how did they measure that?” always come up.
-
03
Generate the digest
You do
Collect the document and generate one article at “short” length with instructions such as “executive summary for a marketing leadership team, three key takeaways, plain language”.
You get
A digest in the shape your readers want.
-
04
Interrogate the source
You do
Ask Knowledge chat the follow-ups: “What does it say about EU markets?”, “Which figure supports the growth claim?”
You get
Grounded answers with the passage they come from.
-
05
Share it
You do
Copy the digest into Slack or email, or run the LinkedIn post transform for an external take.
You get
A report that gets read — and a team that can quote it.
Why it works
What you get out of it.
Length on demand
Short, medium, long or cornerstone: choose how much your readers get.
Source always attached
The digest sits next to the full text, so any claim can be checked in seconds.
Several reports, one collection
Add the quarter’s reports to one collection and ask questions across all of them.
What it costs
1 markdown credit per report, 2 AI credits per digest.
Upload, digest and five follow-up questions = 1 markdown + 7 AI credits. The free account covers your first report.
Packs are one-time top-ups — no subscription. See all packs.
Questions
Before you start.
How large a PDF can I upload?
Reports of a few hundred pages are fine. Very large files simply produce a longer Markdown document — trim it in the editor before generating the digest.
Does it handle scanned PDFs?
Text-based PDFs work best. Scanned image-only PDFs need OCR first; most PDF tools can add a text layer.
Can I control the tone and format of the digest?
Yes. When generating from a collection you set the length and add free-text instructions for audience, tone and structure.
Try it on your own material.
Paste a link or upload a file, and see the Markdown before you decide anything else.
